Terms of Service

The Menuate service is provided by Jonathan Karam Romero, an individual sole trader operating under the trading name "Menuate" (the "Seller", "we", "us"). By creating a Menuate account or using our services, you enter into a binding agreement with Jonathan Karam Romero on these terms. If you're accepting on behalf of a business, you represent that you're authorized to bind that business.

Menuate provides tools to digitize, translate, and publish restaurant menus, including QR generation and an AI guest concierge. Features may evolve as we improve the product.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's Buyer Terms (paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms) govern the payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics of your purchase.

Paid plans are billed on the schedule you select at checkout — monthly ($9.99/month), quarterly ($24.99 every 3 months), or annually ($59.99 per year). Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled per our Refund Policy.

You retain ownership of menu photos, descriptions, and other content you upload. You grant Menuate a limited, non-exclusive license to host, translate, and display that content solely to operate the service on your behalf.

Don't upload content you don't have rights to, don't attempt to disrupt or probe the service, don't use Menuate for unlawful activity, spam, fraud, malware distribution, or to infringe intellectual property. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

The Menuate service, software, branding, and documentation are owned by Jonathan Karam Romero and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of the service to you.

Translations and concierge responses are generated by AI and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing critical information such as allergens and prices before publishing.

You may cancel at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate accounts for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations, with reasonable notice where practical.

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to fees paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. We do not exclude liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. We'll notify active subscribers of material changes by email.
